INDIANAPOLIS, IND., May 6, 2010 —For the third year in a row, Brotherhood Mutual has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in the state by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Brotherhood Mutual placed 10th among companies that employ more than 250 employees.
This is the first time Brotherhood Mutual competed in the large-company category. Previously, it competed in the category for small- to medium-sized companies.
Employees Make the Difference
"More than anything else, the dedication of our employees makes this award possible,” says Mark Robison, company chairman and president. “Brotherhood Mutual is blessed with employees who embody the spirit and character of the company. Once again, this award shows the valuable role our employees play in Brotherhood Mutual’s success.”
Award Highlights Workplace Environment
The award is presented to Indiana companies because they provide a strong workplace environment that values employees. The program is now in its fifth year. It honors top companies in the state, as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handles the selection process, oversees similar programs in 19 other states.
Seventy companies entered this year's competition. The chamber released its official rankings May 6.
