Position Title: Database Analyst
Hours: Monday — Friday; 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Work Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Position Purpose:
Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining consistency within Brotherhood Mutual’s various database architectures, as well as providing leadership in the areas of SQL training and development, Business Intelligence (BI) data architecture planning, and overall data quality within the organization.
Essential Education:
- Associate’s degree in an Information Systems related field or equivalent degree
Desired Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent degree with a Database research and creation focus
- Certifications within the Database Professional field
- Working toward CPCU designation
Essential Experience:
- 5 years experience modeling and deploying various Database architectures
- Experience with database modeling and deployment software such as ERWin.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within an Information Systems team environment, and coordinate both Information Systems and Business Unit data research activities.
- Proven ability to learn and implement new methodologies and procedures.
- Because the company’s niche is the church and related ministries market, and because effective service requires a thorough understanding of this market, persons in this position must be familiar with church operations, and must conduct themselves in a manner that will neither alienate nor offend persons within this target niche.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working with insurance related data and architectures
- Background in an IBM System i and SQL Server database environment
