State Chamber Names Brotherhood Mutual Indiana's 10th Best Place to Work in 2009
INDIANAPOLIS, IND., May 5, 2009—The Indiana Chamber of Commerce has named Brotherhood Mutual the 10th best place to work in Indiana.
The program, now in its fourth year, designated 70 companies as a "Best Place to Work in Indiana" for their ability to create a strong workplace culture in which employees feel valued. Rankings were determined by employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.
Brotherhood Mutual competed against other companies in the small- to medium-sized category (25 to 249 employees). More than 120 companies of all sizes entered this year's competition.
Award Brings State Recognition
"We're honored to have been chosen again as one of the best places to work in Indiana,"says Mark Robison, Brotherhood Mutual's chariman and president. “Knowing that employee input was a major part of the award criteria strengthens my belief that our employees are an essential element in the success of this company."
This is the third time in four years that Brotherhood Mutual has been recognized as an attractive place to work. In 2008, we were among the top four places to work in Northeast Indiana. The regional contest in 2006 recognized Brotherhood Mutual as being No. 1 in “corporate culture.”
