Brotherhood Mutual Employee Appointed to National CISR Board
Bridget Simpson takes spot on Board for The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research
Fort Wayne, Ind., April 17, 2008—Bridget Simpson, CIC, CISR, senior manager of customer service at Brotherhood Mutual, was recently appointed to the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Board for The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. Simpson is one of just 15 professionals from throughout the United States who is serving a six-year term on this board.
The National Alliance creates, develops, and delivers practical continuing education programs for professionals involved in the insurance and risk management industries. The Boards of Governors for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) and the Society of CISR, and the Board of Directors for The National Alliance Research Academy, are responsible for establishing policies, providing guidance, and determining the future of the programs sponsored by The National Alliance. Each year, more than 130,000 participants attend at least one of The National Alliance’s 2,500+ programs, conducted in all 50 states and throughout the Caribbean.
As manager of the customer service department at Brotherhood Mutual, Simpson divides her time between overseeing Corporate Customer Service and the Customer Service Revenue Center. In addition to her new position on the National CISR Board, she currently serves on the Indiana CISR Committee and was featured in the "Indiana Insurance News" as a person who is making a difference in the insurance industry.
