Academy Applauds Speedy Service
When a tornado severely damaged Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis
on April 13, 1998, the school contacted its Brotherhood Mutual®
agent. Within two hours, he and an adjuster were at the site, and the
adjuster authorized the immediate expenses involved in securing the building.
Within a week, Brotherhood
Mutual sent two representatives from the home office in Fort Wayne, Indiana,
to assess the damage. They urged hiring a general contractor to oversee
repairs and provided a cash advance to pay for related expenses.
The following spring, on the first anniversary of the tornado, the academy issued a news release thanking Brotherhood for what it called our "quick response and expertise" in helping the school rebuild. Gary Eisen, a member of the school's board of directors and overseer of the rebuilding, said, "Brotherhood Mutual treated everyone as a team with the common goal of repairing the building, covering our loss, and allowing us to return to the building as quickly and efficiently as possible."
