BACKGROUND SCREENING: How It Works

Safe Hiring Solutions offers its customers comprehensive, affordable background checks. Customers who've established an account with Safe Hiring Solutions may request a background check as often as they'd like.

Here’s how it works:

1) Obtain written consent from your applicant to perform background checks. (Sample Employment and Volunteer Disclosure/Authorization forms.)

2) Download two documents from the Safe Hiring Solutions Web site: an Account Application form and the Service Agreement.

3) Complete both forms and fax (888-356-3295) or mail them to Safe Hiring Solutions, P.O. Box 295, Danville, IN 46122. Upon receipt, it takes Safe Hiring Solutions about 24 hours to process these forms. Safe Hiring Solutions can help with any questions you have. Call them toll free at 888-215-8296.

Once the application process is complete, you will work with a Safe Hiring Solutions representative to:

4) Choose a screening package (Level I or Level II).

5) Enter basic information about the person you wish to screen, including Social Security number, name, and birthday.

6) Select any additional screening options that you’d like to include.

7) Safe Hiring Solutions will retrieve the information you request and display the results as a report. It normally takes about 48 hours to process each report. Safe Hiring Solutions will notify you by e-mail when the report is ready for review.
