Jordan Givan joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2020 as the company’s director of actuarial research. He was promoted to assistant vice president of research & development in February 2022. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, he was a vice president and actuary with Swiss Re.

Givan holds a degree in actuarial science and mathematical economics from Ball State University.

He is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and serves on the Ball State Actuarial Science Advisory Board. Givan also has been certified as a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.

Givan is a board member of the Lightway Medical Foundation, supporting efforts to run a mission hospital serving the poor in Ecuador. He also serves as an elder at Highland Gospel Community Church, the church he attends with his family.
