Givan Named AVP of Research & Development at Brotherhood Mutual

February 17, 2022: Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company® has named Jordan Givan its Assistant Vice President of Research and Development. In this role, Givan will provide strategic leadership and be responsible for the measurement and management of risk. He will be a leading actuarial representative in interactions with company leaders, regulators, agents, reinsurers, and others.

Previously, Givan served as the company’s director of actuarial research. Before joining Brotherhood Mutual in August 2021, Givan was a vice president and actuary at Swiss Re.

Givan holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and mathematical economics from Ball State University. He is a fellow in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and serves on the Ball State Actuarial Science Advisory Board. Givan is certified as a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.

Givan is a member of the Lightway Medical Foundation’s board, supporting efforts to run a mission hospital serving the poor in Ecuador. He also serves as an elder at Highland Gospel Community Church in Fort Wayne.
