In this lesson, we talk with Dr. Larry Taylor, who serves a dual role as head of school for Prestonwood Christian Academy and president and CEO of ACSI. He explains why he sees a bright future for Christian education and shares insights on sustainability, including how Prestonwood Christian Academy is taking an innovative approach to “school.”
A sought-after speaker, Dr. Taylor has helped train school leaders from around the globe. His career includes experience as a public school teacher, basketball coach, Christian high school principal, and assistant headmaster. He served on the board of the Association of Christian Schools International for many years before becoming its president and CEO during the summer of 2019. As head of school at Prestonwood Christian Academy, Dr. Taylor launched a national training institute for Christian schools and started the Student Leadership Institute. He’s also written a book, Running with the Horses, which offers parents guidance on raising children to be servant-leaders for Christ.
