Ministries can help provide their employees and congregation with a new free tool that provides an initial assessment process for COVID-19. Many of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 can mimic other afflictions, like a cold, the flu, or allergies. How do you know when your particular symptoms need medical attention?
To help, the CDC Foundation and Microsoft Azure’s Healthcare Bot partnered to launched “Clara,” a coronavirus self-checker. This online assessment tool is designed to help those concerned about their symptoms complete a self-check.
Clara uses artificial intelligence to walk a person through their symptoms with a series of questions, then gives recommendations on next steps such as seeking medical care. The system is designed to help alleviate general queries currently overwhelming health care professionals during the coronavirus pandemic.
