Scott Figgins joined Brotherhood Mutual in 1989 as a claims adjuster. He was promoted to claims supervisor in 1995 and vice president of claims in 1997. He assumed his current responsibilities as vice president of underwriting in January 2009.

Figgins earned a master's degree in business administration from Taylor University in 2007 and serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Taylor University MBA program. He also holds an associate's degree in criminal justice and a bachelor's degree in public administration from Indiana University.

He received his paralegal certification in 1989 and his CPCU in 1993. Figgins serves on the Indiana Insurance Institute Claims Committee. He’s also the board chairman of Internet Christian radio station,, and is an active member of Fellowship Missionary Church.
