Best Places to Work 2016

FORT WAYNE, IND., May 11, 2016: Brotherhood Mutual has been named among Indiana's best places to work for the ninth consecutive year. The company ranked ninth in the large-company category in the Best Places to Work competition sponsored by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented on May 5 at an awards dinner in Indianapolis.

Brotherhood Mutual also was among the winning companies included in the state’s Best Places to Work Hall of Fame for displaying sustained excellence during the program's 11-year history. Hall of Fame companies are those that have been named a winner at least two-thirds of the time in the program’s history. Brotherhood Mutual was among 14 organizations on the 2016 list that meet the criteria.

“The companies selected represent some of our most outstanding Hoosier employers, says Indiana Chamber of Commerce President Kevin Brinegar. They embrace the idea that a positive work culture that includes respect, communication, opportunity and being part of a team not only makes it a place in which employees want to work but also fuels the success of the company.”

Winners were selected from each of four size categories. The large-company category, in which Brotherhood Mutual competed, includes companies that have 250-999 employees. All companies that participate in the program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees.

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce created the program to honor the top companies in the state, as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Best Companies Group, which handles the selection process, oversees similar programs in 27 other states. Find out who else made the Best Places to Work in Indiana list this year.
