Erica Smith Promoted to Assistant Vice President

Effective February 18, 2024, Erica Smith, CPA, CPCU, BIDA, will become assistant vice president underwriting operations. Her responsibilities include underwriting operations including risk control services, estimating, underwriting services, and data and quality services. She most recently served as director of underwriting product quality and development. She joined the company in 2022. Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, she spent 11 years with Shelter Insurance Companies.

Erica holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Southwest Baptist University. She has earned several professional designations including CPA, CPCU, and BIDA. Erica serves on the NAMIC Commercial and Personal Lines Committee and actively engages with Brotherhood Mutual's CoMission teams. She also serves in the financial ministry at Pathway Community Church.
