Begin Your Review

The Working Together framework is designed to help your church, school, college, camp, or related ministry review your employee handbook at least annually or to create a handbook from scratch. This microsite includes sample policy language, a summary of employment laws, as well as guidance for hiring, onboarding, and saying goodbye.

This space is set-up for you to do a self-guided review. Use the navigation tabs on your right (if using a laptop) to populate the different policies and topics.

If you are working with our Legal Assist team on a handbook review, you'll follow the link prompts that appear on the report they shared with you.

You may copy and paste sample policy text from the Employee Handbook section into your own policy documents. You'll see that at the bottom of each sample policy is a reminder to have a licensed attorney in your area review final drafts of your policies.
